Palestinian Hisham Abu Hawash to be released by Israel after 141-day hunger strike
Palestine's Hisham Abu Hawash has ended a hunger strike that lasted nearly five months after Israel agreed to his release. During 141-days he took only water, salt and sugar.
The fact that Hisham is still alive is a testament to himself and humanity of the significance and importance of non-violent civil resistance.
Collectively humanity has yet to fully grasp the reality that the will of the people is far stronger than anything physical, such as an army.
